NAS-IT: The First Award of My Life and a Milestone for My Journey

Every journey has its milestones, and for me, the NAS-IT Award is a moment I’ll cherish forever. It’s not just the first award I’ve received through my company—it’s the first award of my life.

For someone like me, who once faced rejection and self-doubt, this recognition feels like proof that hard work, resilience, and passion truly pay off. As I sit here reflecting on this moment, I’m reminded of how far I’ve come from the boy who was thrown out of school in Grade 9 for being “weak in studies.”

A Journey Marked by Challenges

Let me take you back to where it all began. In Grade 9, I faced one of the biggest challenges of my life: being expelled from school because I struggled with Nepali and Accounting. At the time, it felt like the world was crashing down on me. I questioned my abilities and my future.

But instead of letting that moment define me, I used it as motivation. I decided to work harder, find my passion, and prove to myself that I was capable of achieving something meaningful. That decision led me to the world of technology—a space where I could explore, create, and grow.

Building a Company, Winning an Award

Starting my company wasn’t easy. It required countless sleepless nights, overcoming challenges, and believing in a vision even when others doubted it. There were moments of doubt when things didn’t go as planned, but the passion to create something valuable kept me going.

The NAS-IT Award is not just a recognition of my efforts—it’s a testament to the journey of my team and the collective belief that we could make an impact. This award isn’t just mine; it belongs to every person who supported me, encouraged me, and stood by me during tough times.

What This Award Means to Me

This recognition is a reminder that success is a journey, not a destination. It tells me that it’s okay to stumble and fall because every setback is a step closer to growth.

Winning the NAS-IT Award has also ignited a spark in me to aim higher. It has fueled my confidence as I prepare for the semi-finals of the ICT Award, another significant milestone on this journey. Reaching this stage is a huge honor, and whether I win or not, I’m proud to stand among such talented individuals.

Lessons from My Journey

Reflecting on this journey, here are a few lessons I’ve learned:

  1. Never Let Failure Define You: Being thrown out of school could have ended my story, but I chose to write a new chapter.
  2. Celebrate Small Wins: Every step, whether big or small, matters. NAS-IT is my first award, but it’s a stepping stone to more achievements.
  3. Surround Yourself with Supportive People: My family, friends, and team have been my backbone. Their belief in me has pushed me forward.
  4. Keep Dreaming Big: The NAS-IT Award is just the beginning. I’m more motivated than ever to achieve greater things.

Looking Ahead

Winning this award has made me reflect not just on the past but also on the future. The semi-finals of the ICT Award are a big moment for me, but regardless of the outcome, I’ve already won by reaching this stage.

I hope my story inspires others who might feel underestimated or stuck. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but with persistence, hard work, and a willingness to learn, it’s possible to turn any challenge into an opportunity.

Here’s to more milestones, more lessons, and more growth!
